Toronto 5km for Sick Kids Hospital

Brooke and Pam decided to run 5km for Sick Kids Hospital.  A dreary cool morning, Pam had to get up at 5am, and drag the kidlets out of bed for 5:30am.
All were good, except Miss Piper who lately SUCKS at mornings!  A stop for gas and coffee, and muffins for the kids and we are on our way.

Toronto had the Don Valley closed, so we had to detour, but made it in plenty of time!  Brooke was just parking and getting out of her BMW as we pulled up!  Scott dropped me off so he could park. Grumbled good bye, and maybe good luck......and I went to tag my number on and get ready.

The announcer was talking and over 10,000$ was raised for Sick Kids!  AMAZING!!  They didnt have a chip mat, so there was a gun (air horn) start, and we were off!

Pretty nice course, some gorgeous houses in the area, a few down hills and come around thru a small business area, and then a slight incline and a straight away to the finish line.

Members of the RAINBOW UNICORNS!  Yes, we had a special club, wore certain colors to school each day!  *notice the matching colors of our shirts...*

Pretty hot eh??  Besides running, shopping is our cardio!  Plus the OCD cleaning fits......well, we work it out!

Mercedes 10km in Oakville, which starts at the Appleby College.... LOVE this run, fast flat course, and the medal is TOO DIE FOR!

Will definitely continue to be a yearly thing!!

jumping right in.... Feb 28th

Last day of the month... we rocked it this weekend!

Saturday, had a girls day. Brooke and I, with Paxton and Piper.  Did Winners, some awesome deals b/c of the 'FINAL CLEARANCE'. 

Brooke and Piper came and supported me Sunday--ran my first 1/2 marathon!  Followed up with Mr.Sub (yum), tan (me, not brooke) , and COSTCO!
